Jennifer Lopez Gives to Good Cause in Puerto Rico

At the Golden Globes a few nights back, many wore black in solidarity for the #timesup movement and Jennifer Lopez did the same but in another location. When she went to Puerto Rico the other day, she did so to donate $2 million. She announced in person and then posted on Instagram that she was wearing black for the very same movement but for Puerto Rico instead.

Her caption for this great Instagram post was “Live from Puerto Rico #timesup #unitedwestand #allblackeverything #equality @arod @goldenglobes.”

What a great move by Lopez to wear black and support something like the #timesup movement even if she was thousands of miles away. What an even better move to donate serious money to those in need in Puerto Rico.
