Jennifer Aniston has had a nice long vacation from the hustle and bustle of network television, spending the last 14 years endorsing products and appearing in films. That’s about to change, as news revealed this week hits the trades that she and long-time friend Reese Witherspoon have solidified a deal to star in a new project.
Apple’s streaming services have given the project the green light (the name of the show, air date, and other particulars have yet to be released) for a ‘behind-the-scenes’ drama about the behind the scenes efforts of a TV morning show. We’ve all watched the television morning shows that give us the news and gossip each day, but this series will pull back the curtains on just how demanding producing a live show can be.
If you’re a fan of the iconic ‘Friends’ television series, you’ll remember Reese was a guest star on the show’s sixth season, playing Rachel’s little sister Jill.
