Jameis Winston to Miss First Three Games of Season

When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers start the 2018 season, they’re likely to be without their young quarterback, Jameis Winston. Winston has been suspended for the first three games of the season and will miss them pending an appeal. Rumor has it he doesn’t plan on doing so, but this suspension is pretty brand new. It has not officially been handed out by the NFL, but reports have been leaked that it is coming with the next week.

He’s being suspended for the Uber incident he had with a female driver back in 2016. This alleged incident took place two years ago but came to light last year in November. The investigation began at that time and now the ruling is being handed out.

The Bucs open the season on the road at the Saints before heading home to play the Eagles and Steelers.
