Indigo Appoints Samantha Taylor to CMO

Indigo, the world’s first cultural department store for booklovers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Samantha Taylor to Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Commenting on the changes Indigo President, Kirsten Chapman said, “I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Sam to her new role. During her five years with the company, Sam has made an indelible mark on Indigo – her passion for the business is undeniable and she has an outstanding ability to connect with customers. We look forward to Sam’s ongoing leadership as we continue in Indigo’s mission to enrich the lives of our customers.”

Ms. Taylor first joined Indigo in 2014 as Vice President of Marketing. Most recently, Ms. Taylor held the title of Senior Vice President of Marketing, responsible for all Indigo brand communication, traditional and digital marketing, national events and the Indigo loyalty program plum® rewards. In her new role, Ms. Taylor will oversee the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation in addition to her current portfolio.

Ms. Taylor’s previous experience includes a diverse mix of senior level leadership across such global brands as Mattel and Hallmark. She is a champion for women in business through her mentorship and leadership.
