This year’s mid-year Nielsen charts for rock music has been released and there is plenty of great music to be excited about on it. These charts cover the top albums, digital songs, streaming hits, and more. Leading the way, not surprisingly, is Imagine Dragons. They have the top rock album thanks to “Evolve,” the top two selling digital rock songs thanks to “Whatever It Takes” and “Thunder,” and have even more hits at the top of the top on-demand rock audio streams and on-demand rock song stream charts. Their dominance to start the year has been amazing.

Dave Matthews Band is having a great year as well as their “Come Tomorrow” album is at or near the top of the top album charts. Other names on these charts include Fall Out Boy, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Jack White, Portugal. The Man, and Foster the People among many other top rock artists and bands.
