Why wait for dessert?  Wendy’s Frosty can now be eaten for breakfast!  According to the company’s release, the fast food giant is partnering with Kellogg’s to bring a limited edition Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal to a grocery store near you.

After success with the Frosty-ccino on Wendy’s breakfast menu, Kellogg’s decided to take it one step further and make the leap to make the first fast food-based cereal.  The “Frosty Chocolatey Cereal” will essentially be crunchy cocoa-coated bites with chocolate flavored marshmallow pieces. Each spoonful “evokes the irresistible taste of a Wendy’s Frosty,” according to company.

The first Wendy’s opened in Columbus, Ohio, in 1969, which launched the now-iconic Frosty into fast food stardom.  And just last year, Wendy added the “Frosty-ccino”, where customers can get a chocolate or vanilla Frosty or have it mixed with cold-brew coffee as part of their breakfast menu.

Though this is the first time that Kellogg’s has launched a cereal flavor based on a fast food item, it has partnered with Wendy’s before. Pringles, which is owned by Kellogg’s, recently launched a chip based on the Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

Shoppers can expect the chocolately treat wrapped up in a breakfast cereal to hit stores in December with a suggested price of $3.99, along with a coupon for a free Frosty.
