Josh Groban has a song that just hit the charts, a Christmas favorite called “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” that you’ll hear right up to Christmas night. It’s been a great year for Josh, having made his debut on Broadway two weeks ago with “Natasha Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.”

Born Joshua Winslow Groban in Los Angeles in 1981, Josh grew up wanting to be an actor, but his singing voice was what every producer or director noticed, so music began to shape his direction. Josh’s big break came in the way of a phone call from David Foster, who desperately needed a stand in for the ailing Andrea Bocelli to perform in a duet with Celine Dion for the 1998 Grammys. It was just a stand in understudy for Celine to practice, but his work was so groundbreaking that Rosie O’Donnell booked him on her TV show.

David Foster liked what he heard, so he booked Josh to perform at the California Governor’s Gray Davis’ 1999 inauguration. And as they say… The rest was history!
