2017 was an amazing year for hip-hop and R&B music. There were so many great names who broke out last year as well as our favorites from year’s past continuing to dominate the airwaves. We see this dominance continue into 2018 with the release of the Artist 100 chart.

At the top is Eminem, whose new music has propelled him over the likes of Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift on the chart. At the fourth position is Post Malone, one of those artists in 2017 that really made a name for himself. G-Eazy’s new music has done him well, pushing him to the sixth position after sitting at number 34 last week. Finally, we see Beyonce, one of the best artists of our generation at number nine, the last of the hip-hop and R&B artists inside the top 10 this week.

Outside the top 10 and potentially threatening for a top 10 finish are Kendrick Lamar (14), Cardi B (16), Mariah Carey (19), Bruno Mars (21), Khalid (22), Lil Pump (24), and 21 Savage (25) among many others.
