Hear Kelly Clarkson ‘Roar’ on her Segment ‘Kellyoke’

On Friday, October 11th, Kelly Clarkson showed off her vocal chops in her own rendition of Katy Perry’s “Roar” during the Kellyoke segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Following her power pose atop the stairs, she championed her way through the performance, declaring within the chorus, “’Cause I am a champion, and you’re gonna hear me roar.”

The American Idol alum paid homage to the show’s current judge by performing her No. 1 smash hit from 2013.
