Avocados, Almonds, Blueberries, Quinoa and Kale are all scoring at the top of the charts with the social media crowd these days, and with good reason. These superfoods are not only great tasting, they’re good for you! Win- Win!

 

In the age of Instragrammable food shots and the rise in popularity of food “influencers,” people are increasingly tunring to social media for advice on what to eat. So then, what’s the insider scoop? Well, we can’t seem to get enough of avocado toast and the South American grain called Quinoa (Keen-wah), for starters.

 

A social media analysis from New Nutrition Business, a food and nutritional consultant firm, revealed that aside from avocado and quinoa, blueberries, almondsm kale, matcha, chia, beetroot, seaweed and probiotics were the top ten most posted foods across social media outlets between 2017 and 2018.   And since these superfoods pack a powerful nutritional punch to their great flavors, we don’t see a thing wrong with this trend.
