On Friday, December 27th,  Bring Me The Horizon dropped a new EP with an track featuring pop star Halsey.

On her collab with the band, a haunting Halsey intones over a quavering beat. “Feel whole, but I rip at the seams/ If I can’t get you away from me/ Takin’ showers every hour and I choke on steam/ Writing on the mirrors and the space between/ Oh, so tall, it broke the fourth wall/ Guess our fairy tale had a few plot holes,” she sings before the booming bass drop of the chorus.

The eight-track project, titled (ready for this?) Music to Listen to~Dance to~Blaze to~Pray to~Feed to~Sleep to~Talk to~Grind to~Trip to~Breathe to~Help to~Hurt to~Scroll to~Roll to~Love…, is the rock band’s transition to a new sound, a more electronica-based feel rather than their heavier, moodier sound.

The EP follows Bring Me The Horizon’s sixth full-length studio set, Amo, as well as “Ludens,” their contribution to the soundtrack for the video game Death Stranding: Timefall, from earlier in 2019.
