Greta Van Fleet & Rachel Brosnahan Make ‘SNL’ Debuts on First Ep. of 2019

Greta Van Fleet will make their Saturday Night Live debut on January 19th, 2019. The rock band has topped Billboard’s Artist 100 chart on November  3rd after the release of their first full-length album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in July. The band well known for their nostalgic music reminiscent of 1970s rock. The rock band is nominated for three 2019 Grammy Awards, including best new artist, best rock rock performance for “Highway Tune,” best rock song for “Black Smoke Rising” and best rock album for From the Fires.

Rachel Brosnahan will also make her SNL debut as host. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress recently won a Golden Globe for best performances by an actress in a musical or comedy television series, an award she also took home last year, making her the first person to win back-to-back in the category since Tina Fey in 30 Rock a decade ago.

SNL returns to NBC on Jan. 19 at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT/
