The Grammys is the biggest award show in the music industry and just the other day they made huge news. They announced that the nominations for some of their major categories would see an increase, meaning that instead of five nominations for them we’ll see eight!
The categories that this affects include Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Those are the big boys and adding nominations only makes sense! How can one choose between five of the best songs in a year when so much great music is released each year?
This change will take place starting next year. The 2018 Grammys have already taken place as you know, so this is quite the move to include the change to the next upcoming award show!
