The big news surrounding young ladies right now involves the Boy Scouts of America! How odd right? Well, this organization that has allowed only boys into it has now changed its rules. Girls are allowed to join the Boy Scouts now! The group’s board of directors met with each other, those in the community and families and when it was all said and done they unanimously voted for this change. This is a groundbreaking moment considering they’ve been around for over 100 years.
This change will begin next year and will allow them to be a part of all girl groups within the Boy Scouts. There is also the option for these Cub Scout groups to allow young ladies into their “packs.”
Starting in 2018, girls will be allowed into the Boy Scouts. What a wonderful bit of news!
