Gary S. Paxton, singer and co-producer of “Alley Oop” by the Hollywood Argyles, died peacefully at the age of 77 in Branson, MO last week. Although an accomplished singer, he was made famous as a writer and studio genius, producing “Monster Mash” and nearly all the Association singles.

How old is ‘too old’ to be a father? Well, Mick Jagger’s 29 year-old girlfriend Melanie Hamrick is with child – she’s fairly young while Mick is not (73).

Joe Perry of Aerosmith who collapsed on stage last week now tells fans that the cause of the illness was dehydration and exhaustion, not a coronary.
