George Michael, the driving force behind the 80s and 90s super group ‘Wham’ died of heart failure on Christmas Day 2016, but his memory, image, and voice will soon be heard. In 2015 Showtime and George began work on a ‘behind the scenes’ documentary that was in post-production the time of his death; now ‘George Michael: Freedom’ is ready to hit Showtime’s schedule; and you‘ll want to check it out. The documentary pulls back the curtain on his private life, his legal battles with record labels, and what it was like to be George Michael.

‘George Michael: Freedom’ makes its Showtime debut on October 21st, and will send chills down your spine. The documentary features interviews with Mary J. Blige, Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and much more.
