Game 1 Recap of Conference Finals

Game one has been played in both of the conference finals matchups, so let’s take a look at what we’ve learned from the two games. Both games were major surprises, but for completely different reasons.

The Warriors were dropped by the Thunder on Monday night, which was a big surprise considering Golden State’s dominance at home this season. Russell Westrbook was a star due to his usage on the court, but both he and Kevin Durant struggled to be efficient from the field. The big story coming from this one was the Warriors struggling and losing a big lead in the second half. We expect the Warriors to win the series, but it’ll be much more difficult than most thought it would be.

The Raptors were dominated from basically start to finish in their game against the Cavs on Tuesday night. Kyle Lowry and Demar Derozan were forced into many jump shots, which meant no easy shots. Derozan was fairly efficient from the field, but Lowry went back to his struggling ways. The Cavs appeared to click on all cylinders and quite honestly we see this being a very short series.
