We bet you love the music of the Pendletones, The Quarrymen, Ed Mahoney and Mammoth. The Beach Boys changed their name from the Pendletones, the Beatles from the Quarrymen, Ed Mahoney changed his last name and went by Eddie Money.

Although John Lennon has been on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine many times, the Beatles hold that record – 30 covers.

Yes, the band ‘Dr. Hook’ was on the “Cover of Rolling Stone” like their song. It seems the writers and editors of the magazine wanted to play along.
