“Forever Words” – Johnny Cash’s Memories Set to Music Drops April 6th

John Cash and June Carter are considered county music royalty; it’s unfortunates that neither is still with us. The music they created will live on forever, and now there’s a Johnny Cash tribute album ‘Johnny Cash: Forever Words’ that will drop on April 6th which will finally give Johnny his due. The unreleased or forgotten lyrics and poems of Johnny over his life is set to music by today’s stars.

John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Jewel, and a few of today’s contemporary artists appear on the project, containing 16 tracks of tunes, ranging from poetry and unfinished lyrics set to music. ‘Johnny Cash: Forever Words’ also contains the work of Johnny’s daughter Rosanne Cash and his stepdaughter, Carlene Carter.
