Foo Fighters Injury leads to Reschedule of Fillmore New Orleans Grand Opening Performances

Foo Fighters have recently announced that they are rescheduling their Feb. 15-16 opening performances at the Fillmore New Orleans. The rock band was set to break in the brand-new venue for its grand opening weekend but are now slated to perform May 15-16 instead.

In a release, the band apologized for the inconvenience and promised to “bring it in May.” Tickets for the original dates will be honored in May. Those who cannot attend the later shows will receive a refund at the original point of purchase. All refund requests must be submitted by February 18th.

The new Fillmore venue is set to be a 2,200-capacity space on the second floor of Harrah’s Casino. Live Nation announced the new venue 50 years after legendary promoter Bill Graham opened the first Fillmore in San Francisco. Its first slate of artists including Duran Duran, Gucci Mane, Hozier, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Garbage and Kacey Musgraves.

The Fillmore New Orleans dates are being rescheduled due to a band member injury, though no further details have been provided.
