Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” debuted at number one this week on the Billboard 200 chart, a monster feat for any artist in the music industry. Hearing this great news got us thinking. Which female artists have had the most albums debut at number one this decade? Well, we now know and quite honestly the results shouldn’t surprise you.
Lady Gaga has had four albums debut at number one this decade. It all started with “Born This Way” back in 2011 and “Joanne” is the most recent to debut at the top. In between the two other albums were “Artpop” and “Cheek to Cheek.”
Taylor Swift has had three albums debut at number one this decade. They are “1989,” “Red” and “Speak Now.” She hasn’t released four albums since 2010 like Gaga, but we’re sure she will have a fourth whenever he next album comes out.
Beyonce rounds out the top three at this category to no ones surprise. She too had three albums debut at number one. They are the following “Lemonade,” “Beyonce” “4.” Did you know that all of Beyonce’s albums have reached the number one position in the US? Now you do!
