What a week it is for hip-hop and R&B birthdays. There are almost too many to talk about! After you see what we’re talking about we want you to try and compare this week to any other. It’s almost impossible to find a better week of birthdays. All of the below turn a year older this week…

Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of the past 15 years or so, originally known as Marshall Mathers. He won three Grammys in a row for Best Rap Album from 1999-2001. What a feat it was when he released “The Slim Shady LP,” “The Marshall Mathers LP” and “The Eminem Show.”

Snoop Dogg has sold over 30 million albums in his time, so it’s hard not to know who he is. “Doggystyle” was his debut album that amassed one million purchases in the first week alone!

Ne-Yo is a hit R&B songwriter and singer who was originally known as GoGo. Bet you didn’t know that did you!? His most famous hit has to be “So Sick,” which ended up peaking at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Baby Bash, Lil Durk, Wyclef Jean, A$AP Ferg, Shaggy and Hadise all celebrate birthdays this week as well.
