Eric Clapton has made news this year with the release of the ‘Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars’ that can be seen on various networks and platforms. This Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been in the supergroups ‘Derek and the Domino’s’ ‘Blind Faith’ and ‘The Yardbirds.’ Let’s look back at his best songs during his storied solo career.

“Tears in Heaven” appeared on the MTV Unplugged series, a song written about the 1991 death of his young son Conor in New York.

“After Midnight” and “Let it Rain’ came from his 1970 debut LP ‘Eric Clapton’ with both songs driving terrific album sales and chart success.

‘I Shot the Sheriff’ from the 1974 LP ‘461 Ocean Boulevard’ hit number one in the US, Canada, New Zealand and Norway.

Eric is now 73 and his net worth is estimated to be $250 million. He’s touring in Germany as we speak.
