Elvis Costello Announces New Album Dropping Early Next Year

Elvis Costello & the Imposters have just announced that they will be releasing a new album titled The Boy Named If.

“The full title of this record is The Boy Named If (And Other Children’s Stories),” Costello explained in a statement. “‘IF’ is a nickname for your imaginary friend; your secret self, the one who knows everything you deny, the one you blame for the shattered crockery and the hearts you break, even your own.”

The 13-track album will be the iconic musician’s first album under the label Capitol. It will be released in both physical and digital formats early next year, on January 14th.
