Elle King’s First CMA Victory

We’ve talked about it plenty in recent weeks, but we were all reminded just the other day of how great Elle King’s country song is with Dierks Bentley. Elle won herself a CMA award on Wednesday night! The award was the Musical Event of the Year and the song Elle was featured on was “Different For Girls.”

Elle and Dierks put together a truly great song and it showed at the 2016 CMAs, the 50th in its history. Unfortunately for her though, many considered her to be among the worst dressed at the event. We saw the outfit and quite honestly can’t disagree with those critics, but we’ll stick to the music here and say that her singing talent on that song is what really matters.
