Earlier in the year, Ella Mai logged a total of 16 weeks at the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart for her smash “Boo’d Up” track. Three weeks ago she was unseated at the throne, but she wastes no time in returning to the top spot once more as her “Trip” single has risen the ranks to No.1, giving the singer a total of 17 weeks at the top spot this year.

This new feat also marks the first time an album by a woman produces two No. 1 tracks on the chart dance Rihana’s ANTI did so in 2016. That year she earned the distinction with “Work” and “Needed Me.”
