Eddie Montgomery Honors Troy With Latest Tour

You may not remember the date September 8th, but if we asked where you were when you heard the news Troy Gentry had just died in a New Jersey helicopter crash, you would remember that date; that’s the day Troy tragically died. Many fans thought his death would spell the end of Montgomery Gentry, but they would be wrong. In fact, his death all but assured that the band would live on, if only to honor Troy.

Eddie Montgomery has lived a full life, one filled with joy and sorrow, and is no stranger to heartbreak over the years. He’s lost a 19 year old son to an accidential drug overdose, successfully battled prostrate cancer, and last year endured the loss of his professional partner Troy. The Montgomery Gentry tour continues this summer and early fall…
