Eddie Mahoney was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island. Early in Eddie’s life it was clear that he would follow in the footsteps of his dad, his uncles, and the other male figures in the Mahoney family – to be a proud New York City fireman. There was price to pay for fame and fortune as Eddie’s drinking got out of control, so Eddie enrolled into the 12 step program in 2001. Eddie remains clean today, still taking time out of raising 4 sons and a daughter.
