It wasn’t too long ago that Ed Sheeran went on a social media hiatus, trying to get away from constantly being on his phone. He’s back on social media, but now it looks like he’s done with Twitter after recent abuse he has witnessed. In a recent interview with The Sun, he told them that every time he jumped on Twitter he witnessed people saying mean things and never being positive.
It’s unfortunate that Sheeran is getting off of Twitter because of people being mean and acting dumb, but we understand it. Social media can be a really good thing at times, but can also be negative. We hope that things will change enough that Sheeran feels he can get back on Twitter and not witness the same things he saw before.
