Dwight Howard Caught with Stickum

Stickum is an illegal substance in most if not all sports, but you only really hear about it when it pertains to football. Giving yourself better grip to catch a football makes complete sense. Dwight Howard though feels that it helps him and his basketball game because he was caught using it over the weekend.

Against the Hawks, Howard was caught spraying it on himself and then at one point the Paul Millsap grabbed a hold of the ball and was caught visibly being confused of what had happened to the ball. He described the ball as if someone had put super glue on it.

Dwight Howard has not denied his usage and has even come out to say he’s used it every game for the past five seasons. He thinks it’s not that big of a deal. It’ll be interesting to see NBA’s response to this and if/how many games he’ll be suspended.
