There is a group out there that calls themselves LA 2024. They are an organization that is trying to bring the Olympics to Los Angeles in 2024. Among those names is a bunch of big time LA residents and faithful. There are only two musicians on the list of Board of Directors and nominees. This list is 117 deep!
Placido Domingo is one of the two musicians on the list, but the big name her on it is Dr. Dre. He has found himself being a big time advocate for the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2024. We hope he’s got it in him to bring the Olympics back to the United States and we’ll find out fast. The vote on this matter will occur September 13.
Other names on the list include Magic Johnson, Jason Collins, Jeanie Buss, Janet Evans, Bill Gerber, Jim Ford, Tom Gores and James Murdoch among many others.
