Don McLean’s Newest Album

“American Pie” became an instant classic in spite of the length of the song (most radio stations back in the day avoided songs that were longer than 3:30 minutes) although Don McLean had a fair amount of touring and sales success up until that song. Some 40 years from that tune, fans are excited to hear that he’s about to release his latest LP ‘Botanical Gardens’ this week.

‘Botanical Gardens’ will be his first album in eight years and his 19th studio album. Don has scheduled a precious few American dates before heading off to the UK and other countries across the pond. Here are those US dates and venues…

March 23rd at the City Winery in New York City
April 13th at the Greenwich Odeum in East Greenwich, RI
April 14th at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA
