On Thursday Night Football, the Baltimore Ravens were shockingly upset by the Miami Dolphins, 22-10. The Ravens came into the game with a high-powered offense that was quickly neutralized by a young, focused Dolphins defense. A major fumble by Sammy Watkins and a last-minute interception by Lamar Jackson sealed the victory for the Dolphins.

In other football news, former-league MVP Cam Newton is rejoining his previous team the Carolina Panthers. Last Sunday, Panthers starting-quarterback Sam Darnold injured his shoulder and will be out for at least four weeks. This prompted the Panthers to reach out to their former star-quarterback in Cam Newton. While Newton has been a free agent for all of 2021, he had a relatively strong season with the New England Patriots in 2020.
