Dixie Chicks Postpone Anticipated Album Release

Live concert organizers began postponing and canceling everything from small shows to whole tours since the coronavirus pandemic broke out at the end of 2019 to help prevent large gatherings where the disease can spread. Now, some major artists are pushing back their spring album releases until closer to summer.

One of those albums effected was Dixie Chicks’ highly anticipated album “Gaslighter”. This next project is the first since 2017 for the band. According to a release on Tuesday, April 11th, Dixie Chicks’ upcoming fifth studio album was originally scheduled to drop on May 1 via Columbia Records but has been postponed. There’s no new date yet.
