Disney Delays Upcoming Marvel Movies

Yesterday, Disney announced that many of the upcoming movie releases will be pushed back by a few months.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will now be released on May 6th of next year instead of its initial March 25th date. In addition to 2022 releases, Thor: Love and Thunder will hit the box office on July 8th and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 11th.

The Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels will kick off the 2023 schedule on February 23rd, followed by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on July 28th. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the only Marvel film of the bunch to maintain its original release date of May 5th.

Disney also announced that the untitled Indiana Jones movie will be delayed from July 29th, 2022 to June 30th, 2023.
