Fresh strawberries are the first fruit to ripen each spring, and can be used in recipes from breakfast to dessert.  Every state in the United States grows the berries, but Florida and California are the leading producers, and thanks to their warm climate, can grow them year round.

Load up the family and pick your own fresh berries at farms across the country or try making some of your favorite recipes above.  But before you go, brush up on strawberry facts, and share your love of the berry on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
