Designer Tanya Taylor launches first in-house Swim line

Tanya Taylor launched her first swimwear line, appropriately called “Tanya Taylor Swim,” on May 13th. Taylor had previously collaborated with Summersalt on a capsule, but this will be the first solely in-house swim line from the designer.

The line is currently selling four suits — two one-pieces and two bikinis, each featuring touches inspired by the brand’s signature silhouettes (think wrap details, smocking, ties) — three sarongs, a beach bag and a hat, all of which feature hand-painted prints from the Summer 2021 collection. For example, the “Kelly” one piece suit promises to “bring the flattering fit and silhouette of your most-loved dresses to swimwear.” Most styles are available in sizes XS through 3X, with prices starting at $85 and going up to $190.

The label says their mission “is to inspire all women to live in color. We strive to bring colorful confidence and high-energy happiness to women’s wardrobes through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints,” offering styles in a size range of 0 to 22.
