Every year the nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall Fame are announced, and every year true music fans ask “where are the Doobie Brothers,” “Why aren’t the Moody Blues in the Hall,” etc. To make matters worse, a few bands are admitted to the hall in their first year of eligibility, making other fans wonder where the justice is?

Here are the bands that have yet to get the call to the hall…

Styx (took ‘concept LPs’ to the next level in the 70s and 80s).

Bon Jovi (our modern day crooner and east coast rock idol).

The Monkees (perhaps a stretch, but they changed commercial music in the early days).

Three Dog Night (so many hits, so many great tunes, talent and longevity on their side).

Foreigner (simply the band that wrote the best rock anthems and ballads in the 70s, 80s and 90s).

The Moody Blues (iconic, game changing, very deserving, a crime not yet admitted).

The Doobie Brothers (the most deserving band from the 70s and 80s, insert Moody Blues reasons).

Boston (we can’t think of a reason why they wouldn’t be in the hall).

Dire Straits and The Cars (unique bans/lengthy careers, certainly deserve to be in).

The Motown stars that we believe are deserving of the hall are Mary Wells, the Marvelettes, and The Commodores.
