Demi Lovato Quits Instagram and Twitter – Not

Demi Lovato has never been afraid to avoid a battle or hot button topic on social media and she has made a big stance on her use of social media moving forward. Demi has quit Twitter and Instagram, citing one of the reasons for doing so being “I like snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say. Follow me if you want: theddlovato.”

This makes perfect sense for someone not scared to dive into controversial topics as Twitter and Instagram will always have haters no matter what side you take. This all likely has come about because of her response to a Mariah Carey/Ariana Grande meme where she takes the side of Ariana. This caused a stir amongst many music fans and Mariah Carey didn’t seem to take a liking to the comment.

Update: Not long after posting this, Demi tweeted that she was back and would be coming back “more honest than ever.” We can not wait to see this!
