Demi Lovato Being Sued

Demi Lovato has had a lot of ups recently with the release of many great hits, but these days she’s being sued, and we can safely say she’s not all that excited about it. Sleigh Bells, an indie rock group, is suing her for allegedly sampling two hits of theirs.

The two songs they say Demi sampled are “infinity Guitars” and “Riot Rhythms.” Sleigh Bells says that these two songs are “virtually identical” to Demi’s hit “Stars.”

Analysts have looked at all three songs involved and have reported that there is some reason to think they all sound the same in some regards, but how much is for the courts to decide on. Demi was accused of this wrongdoing last year, but it has taken until now for Sleigh Bells to file a lawsuit against her.
