Dead at 21: Juice WRLD

It has been reported that one of this year’s brightest hip-hop stars, Juice WRLD, has died suddenly. The musician was only 21 years old.

Juice WRLD, a.k.a. Jarad Anthony Higgins, had arrived at Chicago’s Midway Airport following a flight from Los Angeles and suffered a seizure in the terminal. According to recent reports on the matter, Juice was alive when paramedics arrived on the scene, but was pronounced dead at a local hospital later that morning.

The Director of Communications for the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Natalia Derevyanny, has confirmed his passing and released a staement: “The medical examiner’s office has been notified of the death of Jarad A. Higgins, a 21-year-old black male of the 18500 block of Pierce Terrace in Homewood Illinois.” An investigation is underway, and a cause of death has not been confirmed.
But what has been confirmed that the superstar’s autopsy is scheduled for Monday, December 9th.

An official from the Chicago Police department released a statement saying that “a 21-year-old male at approximately 2 a.m. this morning at Midway Airport in the private jet section/terminal of the airport suffered a medical emergency and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead.”
