There’s been a great deal of discussion and controversy regarding the unprecedented violence that seems to be sweeping our nation these past few weeks. Topics of discussion include the 2nd Amendment, gun safety, mental health, and what communities can do to make schools and soft zones safe. Now, Dave Navarro, Billy Idol, Courtney Love, the Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes, and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor are doing something about it.

The stars will be out on April 16th at Los Angeles’ Belasco Theatre to raise awareness for and about mental health issues. Proceeds generated by the concert will benefit the Recording Academy’s MusiCares Foundation.

Not only will the stars play your favorite songs from their archives, they will also be playing songs from The Velvet Underground and the group Adam and the Ants. The event again is April 16th at Los Angeles’ Belasco Theatre, tickets are already available for purchase.
