On Tuesday, country favorites Dan + Shay announced on Twitter that they would be canceling shows after some of their immediate tour party has tested positive for COVID-19. Shows in Orlando and Atlanta will be fully refunded, as well as a rescheduled date in Florida for April 21st of next year.

The pair had “good news + some bad news” to share with fans, as they took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“Due to routing conflicts and previously confirmed 2022 dates, we were unable to re-book Orlando and Atlanta,” they said in a statement. “We know a lot of y’all have traveled or plan to travel for these shows, and it breaks our hearts to let you down. Yes, we’re super bummed, but in trying to find some positivity on a difficult day, that brings us to the good news.”

The good news, for fans in proximity to the venues canceled, is that Dan + Shay will be joining Kenny Chesney for his 2022 tour that includes dates in both Orlando and Atlanta. They have also promised soon-to-come holiday surprises, and, on Wednesday, followed up with a new Christmas single titled “Pick Out A Christmas Tree.”
