Current Results of NBA Free Agency

Just last week we discussed the start of NBA free agency and we were not expecting what we saw happen over the weekend. The theme of this period has been overspending and major surprises. Players like Timofey Mozgov and Tyler Johnson have signed for $50 million or more even though they would have never come close to that number a year or two ago. This is a product of the new television deal the NBA signed with ESPN and TNT, but it surely is surprising to see. Let’s take a look at the results…
