If you’ve ever finished eating Cup Noodles-brand “original ramen cup” and were taken by the color palette on its iconic packaging, you’re not alone. And if you’ve ever thought, “I’d very much like my eyelids to look like the Cup Noodles logo,” well, you’re not alone there either. Earlier this week, Los Angeles-based beauty brand HipDot launched its HipDot x Cup Noodles collaboration, which includes eyeshadow, lip and cheek tint, and a special collectors’ box that includes both sets, along with a few limited-edition extras.
According to Dieline, CEO of HipDot Jeff Sellinger stated, “Cup Noodles recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, and we are so excited to expand our makeup collaboration portfolio with another cult-classic, household name in the food space. We love to continue creating a world in which food and beauty can exist in one, all the while surprising fans in both industries.”
HipDot has previously launched makeup collabs with Peeps, Reeses, and Tapatio Hot Sauce, so the Cup Noodles eye and lip shades are very on-brand. The Cup Noodles Pigment Palette ($26) is “inspired by the intense and vibrant warm tones found in our favorite ramen noodle soup,” so of course the eight shades in the palette have unmistakably ramen-inspired names, including Diced Carrot, Hot & Spicy, Ramen Noodle, Roasted Corn, Seasoning, Soy Sauce, Spicy Chile, and Teriyaki.
The Cup Noodles Lip and Cheek Set ($22) includes two liquid blush and lip duos, and an illuminating highlighter. (Don’t worry, the red and orange colors have been named Hot Sauce and Sesame, respectively, while the liquid highlighter is called Lemon.)
And finally, if you need to have all the Cup Noodles your face can handle, the HipDot x Cup Noodles Collectors Box ($58) includes both the pigment palette and lip and cheek set, along with a Cup Noodles-logo powder puff, a HipDot x Cup Noodles makeup bag, and a set of HipDot x Cup Noodles chopsticks. (And those latter three items are not sold separately, so if you want ’em, you’ll have to spring for the whole set.) All of the HipDot x Cup Noodles eye, cheek, and lip shades are clean, cruelty free, and vegan and are available to purchase on the HipDot website or on Ulta.com.
