Did you happen to catch the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night? Well, if you didn’t then you missed out! The biggest stars were in attendance from actors to actresses to performers on stage. Our favorite country stars were in attendance as well and there were two awards specific to our favorite genre of music.
For Choice Country Artist the one and only Carrie Underwood was the winner. It wasn’t easy though as Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan were also up for this one.
Sam Hunt may have lost out on the Choice Country Artist award, but he would win the Choice Country Song award! His “Body Like a Back Road” beat out hits from Blake Shelton, Brett Young, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood.
What a night it was at the Teen Choice Awards and there were plenty of country stars were a part of it!
