The Radio Disney Music Awards happened Sunday night and all of the biggest stars were in attendance. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony, Gwen Stefani, and Ariana Grande were obviously up for a few awards, but they didn’t forget about the country stars at this award show.
There were two country awards presented at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards and a whole lot of talent listed among them.
For Radio Disney Country Favorite Song, Maddie & Tae were the winner with their hit “Fly.” Songs like “Dibs,” “God Made Girls,” and “Nothing’ Like You” were all up for this award.
Maddie & Tae were the winners of the other country award Sunday night as well, Radio Disney Country Favorite Artist. They had to beat out Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, and Hunter Hayes for this one.
Kelsea Ballerini had more nominations than those two awards though. She was up for Best New Artist and was the winner!
