Hot cocoa can be a messy business. As fun as it is to rip open a packet of chocolate powder and mix it into your steamed milk or water, mixing and making sure you have a smooth cup of hot chocolate can be tough. Enter: Hot Chocolate Drops. These little candy-shaped drops are the perfect solution to making the perfect cup of hot chocolate every time this season.

Costco is selling these Hot Chocolate Drops made by Belgian chocolate maker Deavas, so you know they’re good. Each is about the size (and shape!) or a Hershey’s Kiss, but is designed to be popped into a mug before adding the liquid of your choice to make the world’s best cup of hot chocolate.  It’s up to you to decide if that involves marshmallows, whipped cream, whatever you want!

Sure, these aren’t as dramatic as those viral hot cocoa bombs, but these might even be better. The packaging is quick to let you know, however, that these aren’t limited to being used to make hot drinks. No, you can just straight up eat them on their own for a super rich and chocolatey treat. If that’s the case, you can probably also bake with them, melt them down and use them to dip pretzels and strawberries in, or even put them in your ice cream.  Yum!

Of course what is available at your local Costco will vary, but if you’re looking to give these a try, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on your next Costco run!
