These days many artists are not allowing certain items to be brought into their concerts. We certainly can understand an artist’s desire to keep their fans focused on the music and not on social media, but Coldplay has gone off the deep end you could say.
Coldplay recently played in New Zealand and they did not allow a ridiculous amount of items. First, the normal stuff were not allowed. Items like video cameras, animals, lasers, drugs and alcohol were not permitted. The next items we tell you might make you chuckle though. The band did not allow political banners or signs, any chair, umbrellas, selfie sticks and any sizable bag. The list goes on and on! You can see the list in full here.
