On Saturday, April 11th, Chris Martin served as a music guest during Saturday Night Live’s first “At Home” episode.

In addition to performing on SNL, Martin also recently participated in Together, At Home: WHO-Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions, where he answered questions from fans and serenaded viewers with such Coldplay classics as “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida” and “Trouble.”

The Coldplay frontman performed an acoustic cover of Bob Dylan’s “Shelter From the Storm.” His song choice was especially appropriate given that most people watching the show were indeed social distancing and “sheltering” themselves at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

The black and white visual delivered the classic 1974 track alone surrounded by instruments and with the words “Entrance to Trains” written behind him, likely a reference to SNL’s Grand Central-themed stage in New York.
